站在时光的交汇点，回望渐渐远去的2022，总有一些人和事，让我们心生温暖、满怀自豪——杰出校友杨学明院士荣获“未来科学奖”，非洲校友在卡塔尔世界杯那句“我去过浙江师范大学”，数千学子逆“阳”而上考研追梦、全校师生员工奋不顾身倾力护航，澎湃浙师情怀，绽放梦想芳华。此时此刻，我们向全校师生员工、离退休老同志、海内外校友和社会各界人士，致以衷心的感谢和新年的祝福。
党的二十大开启新征程，是心之所向，素履以往；更是奋发昂扬，勇毅前行。2022，我们锚定一流，以更自信从容的姿态奔跑奋进，每一个奋斗的身影都是那么动人。
这一年，守正创新，培根铸魂，凝聚浙师奋进一流的磅礴力量。以迎接宣传贯彻党的二十大为主线，开展“学习二十大 永远跟党走 奋进新征程”主题活动，不断巩固拓展党史学习教育成果。深入实施“红色根脉强基工程”，推进党建共同体建设，7个基层党组织入选全国、全省党建“双创”培育创建单位。持续深化省委巡视整改，开展两轮校内巡察，全面从严治党向纵深推进。入选省新时代教育评价改革综合试点单位，思政课教学改革入选第二批典型案例。
这一年，踔厉奋发，团结奋斗，谱写浙师奋进一流的崭新篇章。学校综合实力连续12年位居全国高校百强，数学、化学2个学科进入ESI全球前3‰；交叉学科增至8个，居省属高校第一；非洲研究院稳居CTTI百强，列中国高校智库建设榜单第八。国家社科基金后期资助项目取得新突破，入选“浙江省高校哲学社会科学精品文库”15项，入选全国第二批网络空间国际治理基地，获批高校国家知识产权信息服务中心，成立人文高等研究院。新增15个国家、省一流本科专业建设点，获批2个国家级虚拟教研室，新增人工智能专业。“师范热”持续升温，22个专业（类）投档线居省属高校同类第一。“挑战杯”总积分排名全国高等师范院校第一，首捧优胜杯并成为发起高校，实现4个历史性突破。
这一年，面向未来，变革重塑，激发浙师奋进一流的不竭动力。全面开展机构和中层干部集中调整，出台实施人才队伍建设“新22条”，深度对接“鲲鹏计划”。主动服务山区 26 县，推进教育共富。召开中非智库论坛第十一届会议第一分论坛、中非经贸论坛，发布国内首个中非贸易类综合性指数，启动国内首个中非交流博物馆建设。成立浙江光电子研究院，启动产业光源大科学装置预研，浙师大金华科创园正式开工。与Rokid成立联合实验室，共建XR教育平台；意大利分校揭牌成立；留学生“走进新疆 感知中国”讲好中国故事，传播浙师好声音。
这一年，师生至上，共建共享，夯实浙师奋进一流的发展之基。疫情防控精心、贴心，倾情守护每一个特殊的日子，倾心呵护每一位特别的你。暖心护航毕业生就业，校领导访企拓岗，央视点赞浙师“网络面试间”。强化数字赋能，大力推进“云上浙师”数字化体系建设。打造“浙师有礼”文明品牌，擦亮全国文明校园金名片。民生工程落地见效，亚运场馆以崭新之姿亮相央视，获评“浙江省第一批绿色学校”，师生获得感幸福感持续增强。
2023，是全面贯彻党的二十大精神的开局之年，中国式现代化的美好蓝图正蓄势勃发。
2023，是充满梦想和希望的一年，疫散云开，阳光和煦，惠风和畅，诗与远方再一次照亮奋进的征途。
我们将深入实施科教兴国战略、人才强国战略、创新驱动发展战略，向着那更美的远方、向着特色鲜明的一流大学而团结奋斗，为“两个先行”贡献更多浙师力量。

At the intersection of time, as we look back on 2022, our hearts are always filled with joy and pride by someone or something. Prof. Yang Xueming, one of our outstanding alumni and an academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, was awarded the Future Science Prize.An African alumnus exclaimed, “I have been to Zhejiang Normal University!” in a Qatar market during the World Cup. Thousands of our young students braved being “Covid positive” or risks and persisted in the recently-held Unified National Graduate Entrance Examination, and those dream seekers were supported and secured by our faculty and staff in an all-out effort with commitment. These moments have inspired our pride as members of Zhejiang Normal University (ZJNU).
At this moment, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude and New Year’s wishes to all students, faculty and staff, our alumni at home and abroad, as well as friends from all walks of life.
The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) embarked on a new journey which we have been dreaming and seeking for in humility and will forge ahead with aspiration, ambition and fortitude. The year 2022 witnessed our confident and steady strides to build a world-class ZJNU and every individual is an inspiration.
We have upheld fundamental principles and gathered the strength with vitality. Following the 20th CPC National Congress, we carried out seminars to learn about the 20th CPC National Congress so as to better follow the Party on the new journey and more activities to comprehend the Party history. We implemented the Red Foundation Strengthening Project to promote the Party community building. Seven basic-level Party organizations in our university were prized as Party Units of Excellence at national or provincial level for their outstanding performance in talent environment building and work achievement. We have exercised full and rigorous self-improvement as required by the CPC Zhejiang provincial committee of discipline inspection and carried out two rounds of school inspection. ZJNU was listed as a comprehensive pilot unit of new-era education evaluation reform in Zhejiang province and our moral education reform was selected as a model case in the province.
We have strived in unity and opened a new chapter to build a better ZJNU.The university has been ranked among the top 100 universities in China for 12 consecutive years. Mathematics and chemistry have entered the global top 3‰ list according to ESI (Essential Science Indicators). We have 8 interdisciplinary majors, which ranks the first among all provincial higher educational institutions (HEIs) in Zhejiang. Institute of Africa Studies is among the top 100 according to CTTI (Chinese Think Tank Index), and the 8th among Chinese universities and colleges. We achieved breakthroughs in National Social Science Fund projects (post-funded).Fifteen academic works were included in Collections of Outstanding Philosophy and Social Science Works in Zhejiang HEIs. ZJNU is among the International Cyberspace Governance Base (Batch II) and the National Intellectual Property Information Service Centers at Universities. We have set up Institute for Advanced Study in Humanities and Social Sciences. Fifteen majors have been recognized as first-class national or provincial undergraduate programs; 2 national virtual teaching and research offices and a new AI major have been approved. Teacher-education majors continued its popularity, the admission filing cut-off scores of 22 majors (categories) remaining the first among all provincial universities. With the total points of Challenge Cup ranked No.1 among the normal universities in China, ZJNU, achieving 4 breakthroughs, has won the Victory Cup for the first time and entered the initiator university list.
We have been transforming and reshaping for the future with aspiration and fortitude. We carried out a comprehensive institutional and administrative reconstruction, released a new set of regulations to attract first-class talents. We took the initiative in promoting education for common prosperity in 26 mountainous counties in Zhejiang. We held the 1st Sub-forum of the Sub-forum of the 11th Meeting of China-Africa Think Tank Forum and the 2022 China (Zhejiang) Forum on China-Africa Economic and Trade Relations, issued the first China-Africa Trade Index, and started to build the first China-Africa Exchange Museum in China. We founded Zhejiang Optoelectronics Research Institute, initiated pre-researches in large research infrastructures (synchrotron light sources) and started the ZJNU-Jinhua Science and Technology Innovation Park. We launched the ZJNU-Rokid joint lab for developing an XR (Experiential Response) education platform. We set up the Italian branch of Zhejiang Normal University. We sent the international students to Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region for field trips and their Chinese and ZJNU stories were internationally appreciated.
We have been giving priority to students and faculty in the university building. The ZJNU COVID response is meticulous and considerate by protecting and caring for every person every day. School leaders visited enterprises and companies for more employment opportunities for our students, and China Central Television gave a “like” to “ZJNU Online Interview Room”. We have enhanced digital empowerment and promoted the system “Cloud ZJNU”. We have continued to work for a “ZJNU with Virtue” and a national civilized campus. We have implemented effective projects to improve the people’s livelihood. The new or refreshed Asian Games venues on campus were covered by China Central Television. Our campuses were awarded the “Green School in Zhejiang Province” (Batch I). All has continued to bring more happiness to our students, faculty and staff.
The year 2023 has launched the comprehensive implementation of the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress. The magnificent blueprint of Chinese modernization is unfolding itself.
The year 2023 is full of dreams and hopes. The dark clouds of the pandemic will disperse for genial sunshine and gentle breeze. Poetry and dream will continue to illuminate the journey ahead.
We will fully implement the strategy for invigorating China through science and education, the workforce development strategy, and the innovation-driven development strategy.
We will strive in unity for a better future and for a world-class ZJNU and contribute more to Zhejiang’s pioneering in achieving common prosperity with Chinese characteristics and modernization.
